About Us
Growing up, the son of a master plumber, discussions about plumbing and related topics were often heard around the dinner table, I was always inspired to be like my dad, excited to go to work with him every chance I got. In 10 th grade, I was enrolled in a vocational plumbing technology school, where I received the National Vocational Technical Honors Society Award. Upon graduating from high school with honors, I went to work for my father's plumbing company full time. After experiencing winter working conditions in New York, I decided to move to Palm Beach County, Florida. Having no trouble finding work in Palm Beach County, I was given the opportunity to plumb residential projects ranging from small single family homes to ocean view mansions. On a commercial scale, I worked on and supervised projects such as Land Rover of Palm Beach, Long Horn Steakhouses, and large supermarket shopping centers and medical buildings. Deciding it was time to follow my childhood dream, I studied and took the State of Florida's Plumbing Contractors Exam. For those who don't know, the exam consists of four five hour sessions, spanning two full days. With a 31% success rate, I passed the first time, achieving 90%. The success of passing my examination allowed me to begin what is known today as Tungston Plumbing, Incorporated. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY Having a desire to give back to my community I could not think of a better opportunity, than Habitat for Humanity. The feeling I receive while providing the plumbing work inside a home for a family in need is immeasurable. As a business owner, I believe in what Winston Churchill once said, "You make a living by what you get, you make a life by what you give."
